Greetings,

This project’s mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through hands-on forest education, environmental learning for youth groups and community engagements in preservation efforts across Kitsap County. Wild Grace Forest Sanctuary aims to reconnect local residents, including out-of-town families, with the ecological importance of our regional forests, while promoting sustainable land care practices and habitat restoration, preserving our only life support system.

Wild Grace Forest Sanctuary’s mission of supporting community empowerment, environmental sustainability and educational opportunities in Kitsap County. Because this project is newly forming and not yet a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Wild Grace Forest Sanctuary is currently an Unincorporated Non-Profit Association and seeking a fiscal sponsor to partner with Wild Grace to receive and manage funding and other support, as it grows.

Thank you for your interest and consideration. We look forward to sharing more and building relationships as this project grows!

Greetings,
Welcome to Wild Grace Forest Sanctuary and Kitsap Barn Cat Project. This forest sanctuary Is dedicated To the profound respect and appreciation for Mother Nature.

Growing up with my Italian family in Staten Island NY, I learned traditions from our family including hunting, foraging, and gardening.

My father was an advocate for nature & animals. He hunted deer & turkey up in the Catskills and would bring me along for small game hunting, foraging and most of all conservation of the land.

My father saved his money to buy some land up in the Catskills . They were the best years of my life & when he passed in 2012, I wanted to parcel out the land for retired NYC police horses & local animal rescues. However, that did not happen and the property was sold off and I longed to achieve such a dream.

Fast forward to present time, where I’ve been so fortunate to obtain 5 acres of land nestled in the tribal town of Suquamish. I have traveled around the world and lived in intentional communities and want to bring what I’ve experienced and learned to the community on this little piece of land.

It will be a forest preserve for not just mother nature but for the people that visit. This will be a retreat for the community, offering space for workshops, outdoor education, personal retreats for families and friends, as well as an animal rescue offering foster care and shelter to working barn cats also known as TNR cats. (Trap, Neuter, Release)

I am blinded with this driven dream and look forward to offering the community a little bit of rest, retreat, and hopefully walk away with some education on forest preservation as well as animal care in local communities.

Thank you for reading & considering supporting this goal and dream for humans and nature to coincide peacefully. Peace to you.
